Trevi Fountain · Pantheon
The most photographed fountain in the world, before the world arrives. A private sunrise session for couples and solo travellers, then eight minutes on foot to the Pantheon.
Timing
This route is photographed at sunrise only. By nine the square belongs to everyone. Sunrise moves by more than two hours between June and December, so your start time follows the real sun on your date.
Starts at the first quarter-hour after the sun clears the horizon. A 90-minute session in mid-June: 05:45 – 07:15.

“Roberta is absolutely fantastic – a true professional, she not only knew Rome’s most breathtaking spots for a fantastic photo, she was so much fun and made the whole experience easy and free of stress. I could not recommend her more!”
“We had an incredible experience with Roberta as our photographer. It was rainy during our shoot and she didn’t let that stop the quality of the photos or the shoot. She was a champ! Our engagement photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Communication from the start to finish was flawless and we would recommend her to everyone!”
“Roberta is a magician! My husband and I visited Italy for vacation and wanted to do a small photoshoot just because and the photos turned out BEYOND AMAZING! We have done quite a few photoshoots over the years but these photos are def some of my favorite ever! In addition to the great work, Roberta is very kind and was super easy to deal with (flexibility in booking dates, very responsive, quick turnaround time, etc.).”
Because it is the only time it is possible. By mid-morning the square is full until late at night. At sunrise you have the fountain with a handful of people instead of hundreds — any other hour, the photos are of the crowd.
Couples and solo travellers. For a proposal or a family session I suggest the Colosseum, Trinità dei Monti or Trastevere, where there is space and the light is kinder at the hours you need.
About 600 metres — an eight-minute walk through the old centre. That’s why the two work as one session.
From 60 to 120 minutes. One hour covers the fountain and one more stop; 90 minutes adds the Pantheon without rushing.
