The route

The Rome people actually live in.

We start at Portico d’Ottavia — Roman columns standing in the middle of the old Jewish quarter — and cross to the Tiber Island over the oldest bridge in the city.

Then Trastevere: ivy on the walls, green doors, laundry, small piazzas. At sunrise the alleys are empty; at sunset they glow orange. Either way, it never looks like a postcard.

Timing

Your time is set by the sun, not by a timetable.

Sunrise in Rome moves by more than two hours between June and December. So there are no fixed slots — your session is built around the real sun on your date.

Sunrise

Starts at the first quarter-hour after the sun clears the horizon. A 90-minute session in mid-June: 05:45 – 07:15.

Sunset

Ends at the last quarter-hour before the sun goes down. A 90-minute session in mid-September: 17:45 – 19:15.

In their words.

“Roberta is absolutely fantastic – a true professional, she not only knew Rome’s most breathtaking spots for a fantastic photo, she was so much fun and made the whole experience easy and free of stress. I could not recommend her more!”
“We had an incredible experience with Roberta as our photographer. It was rainy during our shoot and she didn’t let that stop the quality of the photos or the shoot. She was a champ! Our engagement photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Communication from the start to finish was flawless and we would recommend her to everyone!”
“Roberta is a magician! My husband and I visited Italy for vacation and wanted to do a small photoshoot just because and the photos turned out BEYOND AMAZING! We have done quite a few photoshoots over the years but these photos are def some of my favorite ever! In addition to the great work, Roberta is very kind and was super easy to deal with (flexibility in booking dates, very responsive, quick turnaround time, etc.).”

Questions people ask

Where do we meet?
