Trevi Fountain Photoshoot in Rome

Private sessions at sunrise and sunset, when the square is still empty

Two locations, eight minutes apart

The Trevi Fountain is the most photographed spot in Rome, and for most of the day it is also the most crowded. The difference between a photo with two hundred strangers in it and a photo with only the two of you is about an hour — the hour that begins at sunrise, before the square fills.

The Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon sit around 600 metres apart, a walk of eight minutes through the streets between them. That is why they work as one session rather than two.

The fountain gives you scale: water, white marble, Oceanus rising out of the middle of it. The Pantheon gives you the opposite — a portico of granite columns nearly two thousand years old, and a square that stays calmer than the fountain even later in the morning. Two completely different backdrops, one session, no taxi in between.

Sveva is absolutely fantastic – a true professional, she not only knew Rome’s most breathtaking spots for a fantastic photo, she was so much fun and made the whole experience easy and free of stress. I could not recommend her more!

We had an incredible experience with Sveva as our photographer. It was rainy during our shoot and she didn’t let that stop the quality of the photos or the shoot. She was a champ! Our engagement photos turned out amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Communication from the start to finish was flawless and we would recommend her to everyone! Next time we’re in Italy, we might just have to schedule a shoot just for fun!

Roberta is a magician! My husband and I visited Italy for vacation and wanted to do a small photoshoot just because and the photos turned out BEYOND AMAZING! We have done quite a few photoshoots over the years but these photos are def some of my favorite ever! In addition to the great work, Roberta is very kind and was super easy to deal with (flexibility in booking dates, very responsive, quick turnaround time, etc.). I totally understand why people hire her to travel abroad for their weddings. She’s just that good! Highly recommend!

Your time is calculated from the sun, not from a timetable

Sunrise in Rome moves by more than two hours between June and December. A 7am session in July is broad daylight; in December it is still dark. So we do not sell fixed time slots — we set your session against the sun on your date.

When you book, choose your date and whether you want sunrise or sunset. The form works out your exact window:

  • Sunrise — the session begins at the first quarter-hour after the sun clears the horizon.
  • Sunset — the session ends at the last quarter-hour before it goes down.

A 90-minute sunrise session in mid-June runs 05:45 to 07:15. The same session at sunset in mid-September runs 17:45 to 19:15. You see your times on screen before you confirm anything.
